Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver L.L.P. Announces New Partner

The firm is pleased to announce that James T. Busenlener has become a partner of Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver, L.L.P., effective January 1, 2007.

Mr. Busenlener practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense and professional liability defense litigation. Mr. Busenlener was formerly a partner with a Metairie law firm, where, from 1997 to 2005 he represented domestic and London Market insurers in a variety of complex coverage disputes, and defended insureds in casualty and property litigation arising out of oil and gas operations in Louisiana and Texas. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Busenlener practiced insurance defense and insurance subrogation with a firm in Houston, Texas. Mr. Burenlener is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas.

Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Serena E. Pollack has joined the firm, practicing primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense and professional liability defense litigation. Serena previously worked for a national law firm with its offices in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois defending medical professionals, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturing companies, and design professionals. Serena is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois and will sit for the Louisiana bar examination in July. She resides in the Garden District.
