Max J. Cohen's areas of practice are commercial and casualty litigation, with an emphasis on professional liability and insurance defense.  He represents insurance companies, insurance and real estate agents and brokers, adjusters, corporations, business owners, and individuals.  He has extensive experience in state and federal courts defending professionals, whose conduct has been questioned.  He utilizes a computerized calendaring and case management system to service all of his clients.

Mr. Cohen earned his undergraduate degree, with distinction , from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of the Michigan Rowing Club.  He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law where he was the Brief Editor of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the Louisiana State, Texas State, Federal, and American Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts, all Texas State courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit,  and the United States Supreme Court.
