Melvin D. Albritton practice areas include commercial and securities litigation. His commercial litigation practice has had a special emphasis on new and emerging technologies. His experience has provided him with extensive knowledge in the areas of communications and the internet. His client list ranges from competitive local exchange carries (CLEC) to small software developers (including PHP programmers). The types of disputes he has handled include fraud, shareholder fiduciary duty, Reg D offerings and general contract disputes.

Mr. Albritton is also a member of our securities litigation section. In that capacity he has helped individual investors and corporations understand their rights and the options available to them to help secure those rights. In appropriate cases, Mr. Albritton can assist investors in recovering losses caused by inappropriate actions of stock brokers and their firms
