Monica C. Sanchez graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1994 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 1998. She also attended Tulane University School of Law from which she obtained her Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law in 2003.

Ms. Sanchez is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court, and all state district and appellate courts. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ms. Sanchez has primarily practiced in the area of personal injury, particularly in cases involving automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and premises liability since obtaining her law degree.
